The conversion of the Victorian chapel building, St Johns College Chapel, and refurbishment of the East Quadrangle for York St John University to create a contemporary, multi-functional arts performance space and teaching facility.  The highly glazed facility links the Grade II listed Chapel with the East Quadrangle building, and provides a new modern reception and foyer area, which doubles as an events and exhibition hall.   The East Quadrangle has been refurbished to provide teaching accommodation and ancillary facilities.  The scheme was officially opened by Poet Laureate Andrew Motion in February 2007.

Nominated for a York City of Architecture & Design Award.
